5preview SS18 “2008” collection – that’s weird, to call the collection 2008. Right? Well, it all started out in 2008.

This year the Swedish brand 5preview celebrate their 10 year anniversary, and they have looked through everything that they have made so far. They even made a retrospective book.

They have a huge archive, with a couple of red threads running through it. So 2008 is an important year for 5preview. Looking back, looking forward. They tied together those red threads, heading towards the future. The ”2008” collection sums up 5preview. This is how it is, and how it will be. Focus on the prints. Simple shapes. Handmade. Could easily be printed by hand. Both allover and placed prints. The colors in the SS18 collection are really wearable: earthy colors, new basics. Military green, khaki beige, shades of blue, off white, navy blue and hints of warm apricot and silver. Workwear inspired volumes, simple cuts but yet feminine details (as pleats, ruffles and sheerness). Made in natural materials such as silk, silk chiffon, cupro, rayon/viscose, cotton and tencel.
