My favorite part of Paris fashion week is over - and by that I mean the Dries van Noten, Haider Ackermann and Ann Demeulemeester shows. These three are definitely the shows I’m looking forward to the most.

I somehow lost interest in Margiela since… I don’t feel anything when I see the new collections. And it’s always exciting to see the backdrops and inspiration of the Chanel shows but that’s about it. And of course, I’m always looking forward to see the decay of the Acne Studios heritage getting worse and worse by every season. Sorry Acne but what happens in Paris should always stay… behind closed door.

Anywaysssss, let’s talk about the Dries van Noten show for fall 2016 which I think is just brilliant (what did you expect when it contains decadence, Jamie Bochert, red velvet, poison-green and inspiration from the 20’s hellooo).

The collection is inspired by the relationship between the poet Gabriele D’Annunzio and the eccentric muse Marchesa Luisa Casati. Dries tells Vogue.com: “They pushed decadence as a lifestyle, but were never happy.”

It’s dark, glamorous and alluring and I looooove it.

Love, Felicia Eriksson
