All Tomorrow's Parties /

Bohemian living in Birkastan in a small flat crowded with clothes, shoes and fashion magazines. Previous archaeologist now working my way in the fashion business. You'll  probably find me hanging out at local bars. I love wine and colorful eclectic outfits.

Sooo I'm back home in Stockholm! The first thing that happened when I got home was that I ended up in hospital. I'm not fully recovered yet, but I'm pretty confident that I will survive! Guess it was mostly because of the extreme heat (it was almost 40 degrees in Jerusalem) that my body collapsed. My blood pressure was very low and I got intravenous fluids for hydration at the hospital. They have done various test and all I can do now is avaiting the results to see if there's an infection or bacteria in my body.

As for Israel, it is a fantastic country. Will I go back? Will definitely visit Tel Aviv again. It's a vibrant city, the beach and the climate is fantastic, food is good and people nice and open minded. Jerusalem is a chaotic melting pot of different cultures, religions and people. There's a very special feeling over the city with its history but I would not recommend going there as a woman traveling alone. However, I feel absolutely no regret, and although I am not a believer it feels as though it rests something sacred over the city, despite all the conflicts and chaos. Couldn't get enough of the amazing views over the Jerusalem rooftops, last pictures is taken from my hotel window as the sun went down over the holy city! Truly amazing!
Last days I've mostly tried to sleep (ehm well, since I have been a bit bored I have also done some online shopping) , but tomorrow I hope to be back on track, going out with friends for coctails!
Love, Karin
