Is this for real! A big exhibition about Basquiat is about to come true! A few days ago I saw the documentary “The Radiant Child” for the first time and its all about Basquiat's life and how he came in to the art world and everything from living on the streets with literally no money to sell a painting for 5000 dollar. If you have not seen it, you definitely should. 10/10.
Jane Alison from Barbican’s Head of Visual Arts says, “The creative brilliance and emotive power of Basquiat continues to have a huge impact and influence on a wide range of artists, filmmakers, and musicians. This will, therefore, be a rare opportunity for visitors to see a huge body of some of his most famous and also little-known works in one place.”
