A few weeks ago, a few of us from Odalisque Magazine took a wonderful trip to Barcelona to work on a few productions. With many days of hard work ahead of us, we longed for our day off mid-week, where we would be spending the day at Purobeach Barcelona, an exclusive beach club that offers an “Oasis of Happiness”, a place to regenerate, relax and of course work a little bit, on the poolside beds, before the shoots ahead. It is a fantastic location, very spacious and private, with an organic and clean design, and a fabulous pool that you would want to soak in for days. The staff are super courteous and polite and give you the time and space you need whilst remaining attentive to your needs. Purobeach is luxury without too much flash or pretension, it's a kind of place that you can be yourself and spend time reflecting without any distractions.

Unfortunately, the day we were supposed to be soaking up the rays in this urban retreat, living the cosmopolitan dream, the temperature dropped ten degrees and it rained all day. Obviously, the sun wasn't on our side, but we did have the chance to have some cocktails in the beautiful lounge, chat with the wonderful staff and have a well-deserved good night's sleep in their super comfortable beds.
Purobeach, we will be back and we will enjoy our daydreams of drinking champagne, discussing life and everything in between, poolside on a hot and sunny day.
