I used to travel to Shanghai all the time for work and a couple of days ago these pictures appearded in my feed from nearly two years back. I had so much fun, challenged myself in so many ways and met so many wonderful people that I will allways have in my life. 

If you haven't been, then go. It's a remarkable city.

And no. You are not supposed to order a Carbonara in China. Did you know I'm deadly allergic to peanuts and soybeans and sesame seeds? It's basically the fuel of China and YES,  I was terrified! What I knew little about at the time was that soy sauce and sesame oil is perfectly fine as the allergens/proteins dissapears in the process of fermentation as for the soy sauce, at least. As for the sesame oil it was a lucky guess. Still alive and kicking.
