- Ok, It’s not that I consider shooting myself. But the so-called Swedish summer weather is really painful and most certainly not to be trusted. One can never leave the apartment without bringing an umbrella. Just in case. The other day I took a chance and put on my green vintage dress that I found on the nightgown department at the Myrorna vintage shop. Also wearing vintage shoes.Photos: Kevin Nivek Gonzalez
- I really don’t know what I was thinking when I got dressed this morning. Guess I was probably still asleep. One could say that the theme (if there had been any) was something like: “distracted flamenco dancer visits the Addams family going to a funeral.” Utterly chaotic…Anyway, despite my devastating appearance I managed to accomplish a rather massive vintage shopping spree. Found colorful jackets, tie blouses and fluffy sweaters. At a very reasonable price range! That’s why I love vintage, you can dress fun and fancy for almost no cash at all!Au Revoir!
- Wearing vintage hat, bustier and skirt from Gina Tricot, long shirt Marc by Marc Jacobs, shoes &OtherStories and vintage bag.The advantage of being old and wise (?) is that you at some point virtually stop caring about what others think about you. One can for example have uninhibited bad taste in music, dress exactly how you feel and indulge in things only intended for grannies. It’s suddenly okay to not know a thing about popular artists, trendy celebrities and popular phenomena in society. Since people no longer assume that you are updated, you can simply flow around, chill out at bars drinking cheap red wine, indulge in vintage shopping and dress up in funny hats.Photos: Kevin Nivek Gonzalez
