  • Oops I did it again. Every time my hair finally grows back i cut it. I was thinking I would look more like Nico than baby spice.
    It’s dangerous being restless.

  • I've got bits of lavender in my hair. I'm very satisfied with the result. All I did is that I left my silver shampoo in my hair for one hour and now I've got tiny velvet and silver highlights. The perfect red nail polish is from ORLY, ma cherie.

  • Dear Frida. My fascination of you does not seem to have an end. Ever since I was a little girl I’ve been drawn to your colorful portraits and your eccentric personality. I’ve read several books about you and even wrote an essay dedicated to you while studying womens history. I love your voluminous dresses and the flowers in your hair. I love your tortured soul and your eyes filled with life and sorrow.
Frida was born in a small city outside of Mexico city, her father was a photographer born in Germany and her mother Spanish and native Mexican. While growing up Frida suffered from polio and by the age of 15 she was badly hurt in a buss accident. The result was a life with constant pain, which often shows in her pieces. She was the lover and wife of Diego Rivera who often overshadowed her artistically. Not because he was more talented but because she was a woman. He was frequently unfaithful and the cause of a lot of pain.
She said there had been two great sorrows in her life, one was the accident and the other Diego, Diego was by far the worst.

    Love, Michaela Widergren
