The pillow's here :) Grandma made a pillow for Vesper's chair. The fabric is from Svenskt Tenn and is called Elefant, it was created by Svensk Tenn's founder Estrid Ericsson and comes in yellow, green, brown, blue, black, grey and red. We got so much fabric so grandma will make us a couple of pillows for the sofa as well. I have a lampshade in the fabric from before which I'm planning to keep in baby's room when she gets one.
Baby's wearing MarMar.
Since the weather is extremely boring at the moment I want to give you a heads up on The Handmaid’s Tale. There’s already been 9 episodes released so it’s perfect to start watching during these rainy days. I get very emotional while watching. Can’t help myself. Just the thought of someone taking my daughter from me makes me paralyzed. I think the series brings up a lot of important and current matters, such as the climate change and surrogacy. In my mind, not many women would voluntarily give away the child that has been growing inside them for 9 months. It’s a bit scary how people defend surrogacy and try to claim it’s the women’s choice. I’m sure there are women who would carry a friends child by choice. But the extremely poor women in India, if they had choices like we do, they would probably choose differently. Just a few of my thoughts on a very sensitive subject.
As I told you in my last post. I’m working on Dahlias for Dahlia :) Just wanted to show you a few images that I feel inspired by.
