Sisley-Paris is a French luxury brand that creates, produces and distributes high-performance, plant-based skincare, makeup, fragrance and hair care products.
As a makeup artist I'm mostly familiar with their makeup line and so far I haven't tried anything from the brand that I don't love.

Finding Sisley-Paris foundation Phyto-Teint Ultra Éclat made my job as a makeup artist much easier and actually more fun.
In my profession I need to be fast, precise and ready to tackle every skin texture, skin colour and situation. I almost feel bullet proof when I have these in my kit. I know I can “beat” whatever face comes my way to perfection in no time and the result will be long-lasting, even and natural but radiant. It is AMAZING on mature and textured skin and it also has skincare properties making your skin look healthier over time and protecting you from pollution.

The foundation gives medium coverage but is buildable. It´s oil free and comes in 16 different shades that fit multiple skin tones and undertones.

I use this foundation mostly on my female celebrity clients, on myself and if the talent on a commercial or fashion editorial production needs to look perfected and elevated.  It's not the foundation I would use if we were going for a more “honest” no makeup makeup look or if the complexion needs to be very matte or very glossy.

As with all foundations it is important to have a good skincare routine and no dry areas of skin before applying it but in all honesty It sits quite well on even a bad prepped skin. You can use your fingers, a foundation brush or a makeup sponge. I prefer to use my fingers or a brush when applying it on myself and on clients I mostly use a dense makeup brush . I also like to use the pressed powder from Sisley, mostly in the T-zone for a velvety smooth complexion. The powder comes in four shades, Rosy, Natural, Sandy and Bronze and they all blend seamlessly into the skin.

I think the frosted chubby glass bottle feels like a water-grinded stone in the palm of the hand and has a nice smooth shape for your personal makeup bag but is it harder to find a good way to store them and travel with them in a professional makeup kit unfortunately. It is also good to know it is fraguenced. I personally don't mind but if you are sensitive that can be an issue.
