• Creative Headz launches its own product range

    Written by Fashion Tales

Pump up the volume! Creative Headz salon chain is launching a product line for both men and women, developed by expert hairdressers. The initial release includes essentials like texture spray and dry shampoo, with more to come soon!

Everyone wants to be their best self, their most stylish ever! With nearly 20 years in the industry, Creative Headz is cranking up the volume, refreshing tired hairstyles and keeping them in place! Their unisex products are meticulously crafted by experienced hairdressers who live and breathe hair. The aim is to give customers the right conditions to succeed with salon-worthy styling - at home.

Based in Stockholm, Creative Headz is one of Sweden's largest salon chains and the only one owned and operated by women. Behind the ten salons are sisters Nathalie Akgün, founder and creative director, and Joceline Akgün, CEO. The dream of their own product line has long been in the works, but gained traction when the hairdressing industry was hit hard by the pandemic. From the outset, it has been important for the sisters to create a creative environment where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. That spirit also permeates the products, which are high quality, easy to use, made in Sweden, and priced affordably at £22 each.

“We want more people to afford really good hair products. In a few years, we hope that hair styling will have the same status as skincare,” says Joceline Akgün.

The first product release is available at Creative Headz salons now, and soon will be in the company's new online store. More future styling favorites will be launched in 2024. The new webshop will be available from the beginning of march

  • Leoni introduces new womenswear brand

    Written by Fashion Tales

Introducing Leoní, a new womenswear brand set to debut in the spring of 2024 that emerges  under the auspices of the esteemed Swedish fashion entrepreneur Nathalie Schuterman with  the Swedish fashion designer Filippa Fuxe as Creative Director.

Having recently concluded her studies at Beckmans College of Design and Central Saint  Martins, Filippa is recognized for having won several design awards [Danish Selfmade®] and  creating custom looks for stars like Ice Spice and American supermodel Erin Wasson.

Leoní is designed to balance elegance with leisure wear. The garments are designed to be  easily combined with matching co-ords, allowing the wearer to create various sets. Drapings,  lounge-knitwear, and tailored wool in sculptural figures meet in a collection much inspired by  the artistic methodologies of modern sculptors such as Richard Serra and Isamu Noguchi.

The first collection explores garment closures and openings through locks, bands, hooks, and  eyes. Many of the closures on the garments are not merely functional; they are essential  pieces of creating a coherent visual puzzle.

As a nod to Isamu Noguchi's work, such as “Noodle,” where abstract fingers are intertwined  to symbolize connection, the closures on the garments emphasize the intimate ritual of getting  dressed. In some styles, the wearer has different options in closing their garment, such as  several button stands, opening up for a deeper connection to what you wear.

Drawing from the harmonic colors of California nature, where Filippa partly grew up, the  collection presents itself in a palette that echoes the landscape and vibrant hue of the coastal  state.

Leoní will be available exclusively online and in-store at Nathalie Schuterman in Stockholm.

  • Blugiallo unveils 'Två Trappor' – a new showroom in the heart of Stockholm

    Written by Fashion Tales

Blugiallo, the Swedish-founded brand renowned for its exclusive and bespoke clothing, now opens the doors to its new home and showroom 'Blugiallo, Två Trappor', where personal style takes centre stage. Situated above the iconic Riche in central Stockholm, this new destination becomes not only a place for clothes but also for artistic inspiration and familial warmth.

Established in Borås in 2016, Blugiallo has become a pioneer in men's fashion in the Swedish market by offering sustainable and personalized clothing of the highest quality. Since last December, Blugiallo has also included made-to-measure options for women, continuing to offer a unique combination of style and service.

The new showroom aims to be more than just a place for clothes. It is a manifestation of Blugiallo as a brand and a reflection of the company's vision to help people express their unique style and personal brand through tailored garments.
“It has always been a dream for us to create a Blugiallo home, rather than a classic store or showroom. With 'Två Trappor', we have created a space where design, interior, and architecture are a direct reflection of who we are and what inspires us. Our new home is a place where all the wonderful personalities we meet, whether they are existing or new customers, can feel at home,” says Alexander Moström, founder of Blugiallo.

Blugiallo's showroom, previously located on Artillerigatan, has now found a 115-square-meter new home at Birger Jarlsgatan 2, 2 floors up. In addition to the physical showroom in Stockholm, Blugiallo will continue to offer tailoring and sales at its showroom in Borås, as well as online, using an innovative digital tool that allows customers to find the right measurements without the need for personal assistance.

At Blugiallo, each garment is a unique creation tailored to the customer's measurements and material choices. By avoiding unnecessary inventory and producing only after an order is placed, Blugiallo strives not only to create personalized clothing of the highest quality but also to redefine the way we consume and wear clothing.

Address: Birger Jarlsgatan 2, 2 trappor
    Opening Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., starting from February 16th
