I’ve been multitasking this weekend. Working both at the museum, with Odalisque, celebrating my sisters birthday, seeing friends and hosting a dinner for all Odalisque editors here in Stockholm. Here’s a close up from our shoot on Saturday (BACK shirt and Arielle de Pinto necklace), Meghan did styling, I did make up/hair and Sandra did the photography. We started shooting really late (I had other work during the day) and finished up around 10, afterwards we had indian dinner at Shanti… This week I have two shoots coming up, doing styling on both of them. It’s gonna be a good week.
If you haven’t read our interview with MUUSE co-founder Gitte you can do it here online or you can read some of it in MUUSE Magazine.. Do both, it’s a good excuse to get the paper mag.
New editions has been obtained in the beauty department from French Vichy and La Roche-Posay… My cat likes 'em too :)
Chanel Shopping Center. I'd like to shop there, especially with Cara and Karl.
I saw the new exhibition Art Pop at Spritmuseum yesterday… It was colorful, messy and curated by Andres Lokko.
Thinking about what to put on my feet this summer…
I've been having a busy week with lots of work but today I am all free :) Except I have some returns to the showrooms, but that's fine to me. Later this rainy day I'm helping my dear friend Anna, with her giant mountin of clothes that's eating up her apartment.
There’s been a lot of talk lately about the new Crocker by JC campaign. It’s new, it’s beautiful, it’s challenging and it actually feels genuine.
Snapshot from my interview with Weekday denim designer Johan. This picture is actually taken after the interview and that's why I'm laughing, trying to look serious. Check out the interview here.
Today Claudia Fried and I had a very different shoot. It was for the cover(!) of a magazine called Skog & Industrier (forest & industry)… The forest industry wants’s to acknowledge that there’s a lot of by-products which can be used in the fashion industry. For example we had two hats and a scarfs. Since it was a mini shoot (only two images) I did both styling and make up, using garments from MUUSE, Menckel, Deadwood leather and jewelry by Yasar Aydin. We worked with an awesome model, her name’s Sofia F and she’s with Mikas.
Friday night's party at M/S Borgila.
Just got to see the new mtwtfss jeans collection at the Weekday store on Götgatan. Juiceverket was there to make us breakfast smoothies and I got a new pare of jeans called Saturday, low waist and skinny legs. There’s one jeans style for each day but apparently Johan (the designer) only wears Wednesday, all week.
I started of my morning meeting up with Sandra and stylist Josef Forselius, we had some coffee and talked about different ideas for Odalisque photo shoots. We’re all in the mood for some castles and churches to shoot in. After that S and I headed in to Snickarbacken 7 for lunch and another meeting (must recommend the grilled feta cheese sandwich). After lunch we went by the Wolford AW14/15 presentation at the Mornington Hotel, now half of the the day has passed and I feel as if I haven’t really done anything… except for hanging with a lot of nice people. Tonight, dinner with two of my favorites, Aimee and Anna.
Monki just got a new campaing featuring this rainbow colored model from Denmark, Chloe Norgaard. The campaign itself is called “Smile-It's spring”, which is a little bit to happy for me but I really like that they used Chloe, she's cool and the white Monki shoes aren't to bad either :)
