Stockholm based handbag brand Little Liffner looks beyond leather goods to launch its first collection of demi fine jewelry made with the highest ethical and sustainable practices.
The first drop will consist of a wide range of earrings, combining organic shapes with bold spheres, baroque pearls and cool natural stones as well as bangles and rings.
Rather than walking down the expected path of making small leather goods or perhaps shoes the brand wanted to surprise their audience while learning and growing by working with new materials and methods. Although unexpected, jewelry felt like a natural step towards expanding Little Liffner’s world of elevated everyday accessories.
To me as a founder, launching jewelry marks the start of something new for the brand. It is an exciting step in my pursuit of slowly but steadily building Little Liffner into a Scandinavian leather goods brand to be reckoned with says founder, Liffner von Sydow.
From having a non-existent jewelry interest, during Covid, I found myself increasingly intrigued and allured by jewels and their simple power to lift the spirit and the type of casual fashion I love. Through friends in the industry, I was able to find a beautiful factory in Bangkok, a certified B corp with the highest standard of ethical and sustainable practices and started to develop our first pieces, says founder Paulina Liffner von Sydow.
Following the aesthetic direction of the brand’s playful minimalist leather goods, the goal was to offer subtle statement items in a new category - little luxuries that feel genuinely original without shouting. As evident in the brand name, the little things matter.
The collection will pre-launch at littleliffner.com in mid November.
