On 9th of August, both Moomin Day and Arabia's 150th anniversary are celebrated.

Moomin Day 2023 takes us out to the Finnish archipelago to celebrate Arabia's 150th anniversary. In memory of Tove Jansson's life's work and Arabia's 150-year design history.

In connection with the celebration, two specially designed mugs are being launched: “Havsbris” and the exclusive “Havsbris platinum”.
The mugs' archipelago motif is chosen to reflect the sea environment which is particularly important in the Moomin stories.
“Havsbris” is also the hundredth Moomin mug designed by the recently retired illustrator Tove Slotte, and the motif is based on original drawings by the illustrator and author Tove Jansson. A very limited edition Moomin day mug will be available from 9th of August 2023.
