On 4 April Specsavers will launch its latest design collaboration with Vivienne Westwood. The Vivienne Westwood collection is exclusively available at Specsavers and includes 13 optical frames and 3 sunglasses. All optical and sun frames can be customized into sunglasses, opticals, and tinted lenses as well, so the actual collection is even bigger. The stylish frames are partially made from Eastman Acetate Renew, which is a combination of recycled single-use plastic and bio-based materials that come from sustainably sourced wood pulp.

Design
This is a collection like no other; the Vivienne Westwood eyewear collection takes inspiration from key design signatures of the British fashion house. The contemporary frame range of glasses and sunglasses features designs and styles for everyone. The frames are adorned with iconic prints and graphics that are centered around the Westwood orb, and are crafted out of acetate and metals, in a wide range of shapes and styles. Each frame also features a signature Vivienne Westwood design; from bold tartan prints, monochrome DIY style graffiti, V-cut temples to Rococo inspired detailing.

In line with the Vivienne Westwood’s ethos, the collection has been developed with consideration to its design, durability, and sustainability.
