Cara Delevingne, Carra Sykes and Puma celebrate love, acceptance and chosen family
Sportswear brand PUMA has teamed up with the brand’s global ambassador Cara Delevingne, and queer artist Carra Sykes for PRIDE 2022 Together Forever Collection. The collection that celebrates love, acceptance, and chosen family.
Cara Delevingne states in a press release that ‘’Pride is not as simple as just being proud, it’s a step you take every day to love yourself, to love your community, to accept others, to lead with love..’’
The collection focuses on vibrant logos and graphics that pay tribute to self-expression and authenticity. And consists of t-shirts, hoodies and shorts as well as a patterned bralette and matching leggings, all of which feature visuals designed by Carra Skyes. The clothes will be followed later in the summer by unisex shoes, including the classic suede sneaker with a low top and the versatile Leadcat slide. Behind the campaign is fashion photographer LaQuann Dawson, that captured the campaign featuring a cast that represents the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community, including Brinda Iyer, Jalen Dominique, Matt Bernstein, Torraine Futurum, and Yassa Almokhamad.
As a part of the collection, the brand will donate 20% of its fundraising income this year, with a minimum of $ 250,000, to GLAAD, an organization that helps ensure fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBTQIA + community in media and entertainment.
