  • Maze extends Pythagoras - more storage possibilities for smaller spaces

    Written by Fashion Tales

During Formex in August 2018, the Swedish design brand Maze Interior extends the popular Pythagoras shelving system. This fall, Maze Interior, will launch a new addition to the popular collection and it will be their smallest shelf so far - Pythagoras XS. Pythagoras XS is suitable for even the smallest spaces and will be featured in the new color, Dusty Apricot.

With its timeless and minimalist form, Pythagoras has quickly become a design favorite in both Scandinavian and international homes. When the Swedish designer Gustav Rosén created Pythagoras 2016, he combined timeless design, playfulness and functionality. With Pythagoras XS, it is possible to combine these elements further and the new shelf is created to be used in small spaces or to highlight what you love most.

With its playful design, Pythagoras XS fits many different environments. Either you use it for storing your spices in the kitchen or keeping your keys in the hall or using it for storing your favorite perfumes in the bathroom. As with the rest of the Pythagoras collection, each pair of brackets can be customized, and different design expressions can be created to make each shelf unique.

Many people today live in smaller apartments and adapt their homes after the concept of “Compact living”. And for those persons, this is the ultimate shelf. There is not a room or environment that Pythagoras XS wouldn’t fit in. Stylish, elegant, trendy and charming, it can be whatever you want it to be, says Lotta de Visscher, Creative Director at Maze Interior.

The Pythagoras series is produced in Småland (Sweden) and in order to have a production with minimum environmental impact, the consoles are entirely made of recycled metal, all in line with the “Slow production” philosophy.
