Pistonhead Foundation has always been convinced that the attention of, and contributions to, progressive creators’ work is a prerequisite for the development of Swedish culture. Pistonhead and Luger are now back with the third edition of the concept Made By, a concept where the want to allow creative individuals to fully live out there dreams. During the year, Made By will take place at four occasions. Now it is time for the third edition, held the 29th of September at Lilla Hotellbaren in Stockholm, where the music producers, songwriter and artist Leslie Tay will cure the night.

The debate about sponsoring art has been going on for a long time. Some believe that creators' driving forces and platforms are exploited by brands to small sums at the expense of the genuineness of the artistic expression. At the same time, there are also many who consider that the financial contribution of business is crucial for cultural development.

Through the concept of Made By, Luger, who usually arranges both festivals and concerts, and the Pistonhead Foundation, a foundation initiated by Spendrups, who since its inception, wanted to promote and push the development of Swedish culture forward, further reinforce their work for creative individuals. Made By now gives some selected creators the opportunity to create opportunities based entirely on their creative fantasies.

The Pistonhead Foundation is convinced that creative individuals make everyday life better for everyone, and their work is important for the way we look at modern culture. Luger shares these thoughts and we have previously created the music concept On-Tour together with the Pistonhead Foundation. Now we take the step forward and develop the concept where different creative expressions can meet, and where creators get increased creative freedom.” Says Peter Björklund, Marketing Patnership Manager at Luger.

Artist's duo Atlas Television and the collective Nuda were the first to cure the first two occasions. Now, for the third edition, it is the music producer, songwriter and artist Leslie Tay who hosts together with his friends. Leslie is raised in Seved, in the district of Södra Sofielund in Malmö, something that has been depicted and important in his music. Leslie began his music career as a music producer and songwriter for others, but in 2014 he released his first album “Vems fel”. Since then, Leslie Tay has released the EP “12 år” 2015, and the album “Vilja & Tålamod” in 2018. On the 29th of September, Leslie Tay will have a take-over at Lilla Hotellbaren in Stockholm together with his friends.

I’m music, but I’m also a big fan of music. That’s why it's really exciting to cure an evening where I get the chance to invite artists, music producers and DJs, which I'm inspired by. I think the recipe for creating a successful night at the club consists of good music and good friends. We will deliver the good music and will let the guests arrive together with their friend.” says Leslie Tay.

During the night, Leslie Tay will bring his friends and artists Florendt, Saint and Jaqe. Florendt is an 18-year-old artist from Kristianstad who started producing beats at the age of 15 and has released several singles in 2018. Saint is a 21-year-old music producer, songwriter and artist born in Gambia, who came to Sweden in 2012 as a refugee with only a backpack of clothes, today he is celebrated for his music creation. Jaqe is an already established artist from Malmö who broke through in the early 90s. Later in the evening there will be three different DJ crews playing; Josef & Jelassi, Black Moose and Jones.
