Bohemian living in Birkastan in a small flat crowded with clothes, shoes and fashion magazines. Previous archaeologist now working my way in the fashion business. You'll  probably find me hanging out at local bars. I love wine and colorful eclectic outfits.

  • Swedish archipelago (very nice), Swedish summer (not so nice). Seriously, I'm freezing to death. Also lying awake most of the nights listening for strange noises such as branches that cracks and starved bears approaching the cottage. One could say that my life right now is a completely near death experience.

But as you see, internet is working smoothly… Perhaps I might be able to rig an online-camera so everyone can watch in real-time when hungry bears are eating me up.

Or perhaps it would be sad if that was the last memory people had of me so maybe I'll skip that idea….

Anyway, what I wanted to say was: Hope you are enjoying life in civilization!

    Love, Karin
  • I have arrived in the wilderness and the smallest cottage ever seen. The advantage is that the phone works and I'm online….ehmmm. Maybe I will survive this adventure after all. Now I'll tuck into my supplies. Unfortunately, I ate all five days of candy ration on the ferry ride over here but fortunately there are a greater number of bags of chips left.

Later I'll explore the island, as the female version of Robinson Crusoe.
    Take care!

  • Now I'm off to the archipelago where I plan to master the wilderness. I've packed a pair of relatively low-heeled shoes and extreme amounts of food in a can. Plus a large number of bags of chips. All for the greatest possible chance of survival. If I have not drowned, been eaten by any wild animal or contaminated by any tick-borne illness, I will be back in town on Thursday.

Will of course bring all the technical communicative tools I have as computer, i-phone etc but it's not certain that it works out in the wilderness. Therefore, you should consider blog posts as a bonus.

    Happy midsummer!

    Love, Karin
