  • Double Lindahl Debuts with Punky Luxury Novel

    Written by Ulrika Lindqvist

On April 19th, Axel and Josefine Lindahl made their author debut with “Ultraromance,” a punky luxury novel that explores the pursuit of the European dream.

The intrigue begins in Italy, where the Swedish cultural child Sasha is seduced by the chef Simone and follows him in a sports car across the border to France. In beautiful, mythic places, they encounter people who could just as easily be billionaires as homeless, and whose anecdotes about a specific yacht become more prevalent as they get closer to Saint-Tropez.

Thus, Double Lindahl steers Sasha and Simone past fenced-off promontories and world-weary private parties, right into the insane, YSL-black heart of late capitalism.

Double Lindahl – Josefine and Axel Lindahl – are a Swedish author duo. Josefine works as a freelance copywriter, and Axel runs the creative agency Public Image with clients such as Gucci, Prada, and Jacquemus. They split their time between Stockholm and Rome.

“Ultraromance” is published by the IT-LIT publishing house and will be available for sale at bookstores including Akademibokhandeln, Bokus, Adlibris, and Papercut.
