Spanish design powerhouse PORCELANOSA has officially opened its first store in Stockholm, marking an important milestone in the brand’s Scandinavian expansion. Located at Karlavägen 64, the new showroom offers a curated space where architects, designers, and homeowners can explore the company’s latest collections of ceramics, kitchens, bathroom furniture and technical surfaces.

“This opening represents not just our entry into a new market, but also an opportunity to share our vision of sustainable, functional, and timeless design with an audience that values quality and innovation,” said Andrés Sánchez, spokesperson for PORCELANOSA Group in Sweden.

To celebrate the launch, Spanish actress and PORCELANOSA ambassador Esther Acerbo, known among other things for her role in the cult TV series La Casa Del Papel, visited Stockholm for the first time. “Porcelanosa has always been an icon for me, a symbol of style and elegance,” Acerbo said. “When I first stepped into one of their stores, I thought, ‘this feels like an art gallery.’”

For Acerbo, who is known for transforming into different characters on screen, Porcelanosa’s approach to design is very personal. “Interior design, just like acting, is about storytelling. You create a mood, a feeling, a personality for a space. Porcelanosa gives you the tools to do that.”
Sustainability is another reason why Acerbo feels aligned with the brand. “We are not only what we eat or see, but also what we surround ourselves with. I choose to work with brands whose values I share, and Porcelanosa’s commitment to sustainability and innovation makes me feel like I’m not just collaborating with them. I’m part of them.”

When asked what she would take home from the showroom, Acerbo said: “It’s impossible to choose! But I always come back to the kitchen collections. The kitchen is where people gather, where creativity and connection happen; that’s what makes it special.”

For Acerbo, the most surprising discovery as an ambassador has been the company culture. “They really are like a family, working side by side without rigid hierarchy. That makes every collaboration feel authentic and meaningful.”

With this new opening, PORCELANOSA strengthens its presence in Northern Europe, adding Stockholm to a network of more than 1,000 points of sale worldwide, inviting Scandinavians to experience its blend of Spanish elegance, innovation, and craftsmanship.
