I actually bought this dress four years ago for my mothers funeral. I was an utterly heartbroken mess and the task of finding a “happy dress with butterflies on it” felt only violently cruel and impossible. I had wandered trough the city like a zombie for a day and when I had just minutes to my doorstep I saw a slight shimmer in a window and there it was. This dress symbolizes so much to me and I will always pack it for any happy occasion, remembering her and all that she was, all that she wanted for me and all that she'll allways be wherever in the world I might find myself.
Luxurious news from Babor just dropped and I tried two of the exclusive hand labelled bottles whilst away on our holiday.
The Serum, 2750 SEK/30ml partially consists of three active ingredients found in the depths of the ocean; Micro Algae AP is claimed to counteract fine lines and wrinkles together with glycocéane GP3 and termophilius which are both deep sea microorganisms working hard to get your skin glowing. I find its light texture and slightly marine scent elegantly appealing.
The Mask, 2150 SEK/50ml has the same active ingredients and is best used as an overnight mask. It's light in texture and for me personally it was a total lifesaver after a long day in the strong sun. I would say that this is a mask for all skin types and I would absolutely recommend it. However, do remember that what works for me might not work for you and vice versa.
As for the serum it's too early to ponder over results, but I will get back to you with my thoughts in about 4 weeks. Babor is a fabulous brand and it rarely lets me down. If I remember correctly, the only products I've tried in the past that were not for me were the rich textured creams. My skin simply needs lighter formulas and lucky me, they make those too.
Santa was good to me. I've been contemplating these beautiful Gucci's for quite some time and somehow they manifested in my Christmas stocking when I woke up on Christmas morning. : )
