Originally from South Florida, Emilie grew up traveling, animal-taming, trouble-seeking, briefly modeling and occasionally go-go dancing.

She moved to New York City for school in 2001 and then to Los Angeles in 2004. She now spends most of her time planning adventures and shooting models, actors and musicians for various publications and websites.
