Sorry for the absence on the blog. Those who follow me on instagram knows I have been busy drinking cava and eating tartare. The truth is that I have also been working a lot, and my health status has at the same time been kind of poor. I have found myself struggling somewhere in the borderland between terminally ill and generally exhausted and there's been no energy to shoot outfit pictures or something like that.
Yesterday me and my stylish neighbor Helli went out and bumped into two chinese tourists. They had been in Stockholm for like 5 hours, and thinking of this today in retrospect, I'm not sure if the'll ever dare to come back! We went bar hopping and the last clear memory I have is drinking the (in)famous drink bowl “the vulcano”. However, I really think we had a blast! Unfortunately my body didn't totally agree when I woke up this morning, and the entire day has been somewhat of a struggle.
BUT something that really made my day was that I got this delivery from Bedazzled Jewelry with custom made bracelet and ring! LOVE IT sooooo much!
Tomorrow it's time for fashion week. Only in Stockholm we start the week on a Sunday… Luckily the first show starts at lunch time so I will sleep late and then head to the shows. I don't know if it's me getting old but even though I love fashion, frankly, fashionweek is no longer that important to me. Some years ago I planned for weeks which shows to go to and not the least what to wear. However, I think it will be fun to catch up with those fashion people again and hopefully there will be inspiring shows and meetings.
I'll keep you posted!
Some outfit photos taken the other day while trying to walk the slippery streets in the slush. Wearing vintage fur hat and Marc Jacobs oversize knitted sweater and sequin bag.
Today the streets are back to normal. But you'll never know when the blizzard and snow hits again, Swedish winter is totally unreliable. I'm counting down every day now, longing for my trip to Jamaica. Soon only 20 days left! Hopefully time will fly fast and soon I'm there, hanging at the beach, drinking margaritas under the caribbean sun. Can't wait!

Today, when I sat on the bus, I could not help but react to the large mass of black dressed people. As far as I could see there was only black, perhaps here and there an occasional dark blue or gray toned garment but that was all. There is something very special about Swedes and their black padded jackets during winter time. It was almost funny to see people lined up on the bus dressed exactly the same, almost like a black army. Black padded jackets, dark trousers and perhaps a black cap. Additionally everyone were gazing at the their cell phones, strangely absorbed in their own bubble. A black small particle in a large black mass. At the same time, yet so trapped in their own world. I sat there in my pink coat and funny hat and watched the scene, feeling like the pink sheep in a herd of black sheep.
